Observaciones:
El fenómeno de la música electrónica, que se inició en los 80 de una forma un tanto drástica, se ha ido endulzando con el paso del tiempo, volviendose un poco más sofisticado. Contrariamente al resto de estilos musicales, probablemente este género esté esperimentando una evolución real, y no una involución. Esto se refleja en el auge del Big Beat, un género dentro del género, en el que se permiten ciertas licencias melódicas. Los creadores del estilo fueron Chemical Brothers, y de ellos se pueden considerar herederos, entre otros, The Prodigy.
Galvanize se ha hecho popular gracias a un anuncio de televisión y es una composición muy atractiva, por lo bien que adapta las coletillas árabes al género bailable. Como contrapunto a este elegante trabajo musical, hay una letra pesimista y que narra la confrontación. No es de extrañar que los atentados suicidas que asolaron Londres, acto seguido de ser proclamada ciudad olímpica, inspirasen de alguna manera su letra. Y alguien más posiblemente también lo creyó así cuando Galvanize, de una forma u otra, fue galardonada con el Gramy a la mejor canción de Dance/Electrónica.
