Observaciones:
London Calling, por su extensión, calidad, variedad y originalidad probablemente sea uno de los 3 o 4 discos más fundamentales de la historia de la música contemporánea. Mi tema preferido posiblemente sea este, por lo pegadizo y de fácil adaptación a los directos, donde siempre suena con un reprise algo superior. Paradójicamente entró en el disco al final y casi de rebote.
De los Clash poco se puede decir, que no esté dicho ya. Es la banda británica post Beatle más reseñable y el grupo de referencia del punk-rock junto con los Ramones, con guiños a una gran variedad de estilos musicales como el ska, el hip hop o el reagge. Como banda tuvo una duración muy longeva (1975-1986), aunque sus últimos años estuvieron caracterizados por el conflicto (Clash), el exceso de éxito mal asimilado y la heroina.
